Pepetela and the New Angolan Mythology - by Dr. Mary L. Daniel "Retired Emeritus Professor Dr. Mary L. Daniel has graciously conceded permission for the BLAC Foundation to reprint her article "Pepetela and the New Angolan Mythology" which was first published in 1993 by Host Publications Inc. in a volume entitled Homenagem a Alexandrino Severino: Essays on the Portuguese Speaking World as the first article in a new section on the site to be entitled "Black Literature of the tropics."
